مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنۢبَتَتۡ سَبۡعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنۢبُلَةٖ مِّاْئَةُ حَبَّةٖۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُضَٰعِفُ لِمَن يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies ˹the reward even more˺ to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.

And hold firmly together to the rope of Allah¹ and do not be divided. Remember Allah’s favour upon you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts, so you—by His grace—became brothers. And you were at the brink of a fiery pit and He saved you from it. This is how Allah makes His revelations clear to you, so that you may be ˹rightly˺ guided.

1. Age requirement
nahnu is for users aged 18 or over only. You must not create or use an account if you are under 18.
2. Respectful conduct
Treat other users with dignity. Disagreement is allowed. Abuse, intimidation, humiliation, threats, and harassment are not allowed.

nahnu has zero tolerance for grooming, child exploitation, sexual exploitation, or behaviour that may put a child or vulnerable person at risk.
4. Illegal content
Do not post, request, promote, or arrange anything illegal, including exploitation, credible threats, scams, fraud, harassment, blackmail, or serious harm.
5. Hate and sectarian abuse
Do not attack, degrade, threaten, or dehumanise people because of religion, sect, ethnicity, nationality, sex, disability, age, or other protected or personal characteristics.
6. Harassment and bullying
Do not repeatedly target another user, organise others against them, pressure them, mock them, or ignore blocks, removals, or declined requests.

nahnu is not a dating site or adult-content platform. Sexual content, sexually suggestive behaviour, and sexual targeting of users are not allowed.
8. Private information
Do not share another person’s private information without permission. This includes addresses, phone numbers, emails, private photos, identity documents, medical details, and private conversations.
9. Identity and verification
Do not impersonate another person, organisation, moderator, admin, or nahnu representative. Do not make false verification claims.

Public profile information, profile pictures, taglines, statuses, and Maidaan posts must be safe, lawful, respectful, and suitable for the audience you choose.
11. Musallah
Musallahs must be used for lawful, respectful, and safe community activity. Musallah owners and moderators must help keep them safe.
12. Friends, invites, and notifications
Friend requests and invitations must be genuine and respectful. Do not spam, pressure, manipulate, or harass users through requests or notifications.
13. Badges
Badges are for trust, participation, and positive contribution. Do not fake, manipulate, sell, or abuse badge systems.
5. Preventing misuse
14. Spam and scams
Do not use nahnu for spam, bots, phishing, scams, fake fundraising, misleading links, or fake engagement.
15. Technical abuse
Do not attack, scrape, overload, bypass, reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with nahnu or another user’s account.
16. Reporting
Reports must be made honestly and in good faith. Do not abuse reporting to harass users or silence disagreement.
6. Decisions and acceptance
17. Moderation
nahnu may warn users, hide or remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, ban accounts, remove Musallahs, preserve records, and report serious safety concerns where required or appropriate.
18. Appeals
Users may be able to appeal moderation decisions. Appeals should explain why the decision was wrong and must not be abusive.
19. Privacy
nahnu should collect and use personal data only where needed to operate the platform, protect users, enforce rules, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
20. Changes to these rules
If these rules change materially, you may be asked to accept the latest version before continuing to use nahnu.
Community standard
Use nahnu with sincerity, respect, and responsibility. Do not use the platform to harm, exploit, deceive, harass, divide, or endanger others.

- Choose your main space. From Home, choose Musallah for shared worship and activities or Maidaan for community posts.
- Use the Menu. Open it from the top-right of your home page to find your profile, people, friends and other sections.
- Check the bell. The bell at the top of your home page opens your notifications.
- Make nahnu easier to read. Open the Menu and select “Display settings”. Choose Normal, Large or Extra-large text, turn on higher contrast if it helps, and choose dark mode if you prefer a darker screen. Your choice is remembered on this device.

- Find or create one. Enter the Musallah section to search Public Musallahs or create a Shared Tasbih or task-based Musallah.
- Join safely. Public Musallahs can be found in search. Private Musallahs require approved access.
- Take part. Submit Tasbih counts for approval, or take, return and complete available tasks.

- Choose a feed. All posts shows public posts, For me shows posts from accepted friends, and Trending shows popular hashtags.
- Share a post. Write your message and choose whether it is Public or for Friends.
- Open post actions. Select the cog underneath the Public or Friends label to open its conversation, love, share, edit or report when those actions are available.
- Use links and tags. Use @ for a person, @@ for a Public Musallah and # for a hashtag.

- Open your profile. On Home, select your profile picture, name or Go to my profile. Use the tabs to update your details and photograph or open badges, friends, activity and chats.
- Choose who sees an update. When you publish a profile status, choose Everyone on nahnu or Accepted friends only.
- Find and manage friends. Use Find on Home to search by username. Open the Friends tab on My Profile to see accepted friends and their latest updates.
Understanding moderation
Appeals and decisions
- Review the decision first. Open the Support Portal to read the decision, its reason and its current status.
- Select the exact action. If an appeal is available, choose the warning, suspension, account ban or other moderation decision you want reviewed.
- Explain what you believe was wrong. Give the relevant facts clearly and respectfully. The selected case reference is attached automatically when one is available.
- Follow the support history. Return to the Support Portal to read replies, provide more information when requested and see the final outcome.
Help when something is wrong
Safety and support
- Report the exact item. Use its Report action when a profile, post, message or Musallah may be unsafe or break the rules.
- Keep account details private. Do not share your password in posts, messages or with another user.
- Use the Support Portal. From Home, choose “Support Portal”. It shows warnings, restrictions, appeals and support replies.
